Our First Date…
Do you remember
The first date we went together?
You held my hand, pressed my palm.
I went crazy and said, “I can’t walk”.
You thought for a while
And took me on your back.
You smiled and whispered,
“Let’s move on, my doll.”
They gave a look at us.
I asked, “Are we looking weird?”
“Even a boy kissed a girl, here matters…
We are one for us,
Rest all who cared!”
How come you became so brave?
It’s the effect of love
From that, I too can’t remain safe.
I felt it could be snow as morning dew.
The trees shed off all the leaves new.
I kept imagining if it could rain!
But God put all my desire in vain.
Let’s go to the lake.
Do you know to swim?
No…
Don’t you fear?
Why? You will take me
On your back there.
Are we alone here on a boat?
The smog will cover the lake soon.
The sunset past an hour,
as the dusk appeared.
We need to move now
Everybody else left, we alone are here.
You asked, let’s move if you are ready.
I asked you for a Teddy.
You said, “Boys don’t play with a soft toy.”
I replied, ” Then ‘Boys’ don’t love a boy.”
It’s difficult to convince you.
B’caz, you love me, and I love you.
Are we the sacred couple dove?
You are the one and only one I love.
And the story ends here.
